With a 2:1 chip lead, Lee entered heads up play over Velcic. As the hands  played out Lee climbed to a 6:1 advantage.

The last hand played out when Lee with ten-four bet just enough to lure Velcic who went all in with Ace-three on a two-ten-jack-six rainbow board. Velcic had to settle for runner up with that took home $29,490.

Andy Lee is on a roll and what a way to redeem himself after finishing 8th in the 5K challenge!

“I was gutted,” Lee said to the Star Poker Live Reporting Team. “I put myself in a good spot to win the 5k event and to go out so quickly was disappointing. I wanted to make amends in this 6 Max Event which is exactly what I did.”
