Brandon Adams Takes Down 2018 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $370,000

The $25,000 Buy-in High Roller event at 2018 World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Florida played host to 40 entries and it was Brandon Adams who came out top to take home the title as well as a cool $370,000 for his efforts.

Adams ended day 1 of the event as chip leader even though he registered quite late. Shaun Deeb was the first to exit the final table for a payout of $60,000 followed by Darren Elias and Ajay Chabra. Brandon Adams eventually found himself in a heads-up battle against Spaniard Pablo Fernandez with a 3:1 chip advantage and proceeded to make short work of the latter and scoop the win.

“I’ve never really had a tournament where things went this smoothly from the beginning,” Adams stated according to pokernews. “It feels good to run that unbelievably well,” he added.

A look at the final table payouts:
1. Brandon Adams – $370,000
2. Pablo Fernandez – $240,000
3. Barry Hutter – $150,000
4. Ajay Chabra – $105,000
5. Darren Elias – $75,000
6. Shaun Deeb – $60,000
Previously, Adams won the $50,000 buy-in Poker Masters event in October last year for $819,000 – the biggest live cash of his career. With this current victory, Adams now has over $3 Million in live cashes.
