Chris Brice Ships partypoker LIVE UK Main Event for $262,881

It took four days and navigation through 1,076 players across four starting flights for UK resident Chris Brice to take down the partypoker LIVE UK Main Event for a cool $262,881. The event garnered a total prize pool of £1,043,720 and was held at the Dusk till Dawn Casino in Nottingham.

Prior to this victory, Chris Brice had only amassed $107,943 in lifetime tournament winnings with his previous score coming in at $65,902 back in 2015 where he finished 2nd place in the UKIPT Bristol Main Event. Brice’s Pocket Kings held up against the AK of eventual runner-up Daniel Clark to give him to title.

“It’s been such a good tournament; so prestigious. I’m just absolutely delighted. It means a lot to my family and me, and I’m just very grateful obviously to partypoker, Dusk Till Dawn and for running such a great tournament,” Brice told pokernews.

“I never put my tournament at risk at any point. Day 1 went relatively well, but Day 2 was very much a bit of a grind. There were certainly a few bumps in the road. I made a couple of technical errors. But today went very smoothly, again no bumps in the road. I had a tough table but thought I had a good measure of my opponents. I don’t think there were any obvious weak spots at the final table. I had great respect for all of the players I came up against. I made good decisions and had a good feel for where I was most of the time,” he added.

Super HighRoller Winner Steven Morris had a tremendous week, making an appearance at the main event final table as well. He went out in 5th place for $56,091.
