The European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona saw the €550 EPT Cup come to an end with a three-way deal and Poland’s Dariusz Paszkiewicz taking home the title. Dariusz received €157,550 while Mickael Vongsonthi and Youcef Benzerfa walked away with €147,500 each.

The three-way deal was made leaving the $30,000 Platinum Pass to play for, and Paszkiewicz got the better of Vongsonthi heads-up to take it down. Unfortunately for Vongsonthi, this was the second time in the same day that he finished second in an event that had a Platinum Pass up for grabs! Earlier that day, he finished second to Rolando Camardese in the Crazy Pineapple Flipout!

The EPT Cup has always attracted a massive field of players and the 2018 Barcelona Edition was no different. The event saw 3,287 registrations over 3 starting flights of the two-day event, with the top 485 players making it to the money.  A min-cash was worth €865, but a three-way bust-out between Rocco Palumbo, Felipe Bozzetti Pasqual and Osvaldo Lewis split the last-place prize money three-way.
