Belgian Poker Pro Davidi Kitai manuvered through a tough field of 90 entries that created a prize pool of €2,182,500 to come out on top and take home the title as well as $862,772 for his pole position finish at the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Super Higher Roller (2) in Casino Barcelona.
The final day of the €25,500 buy-in event began with Spaniard Juan Pardo Dominguez as chip leader. 8 players battled it out for the spoils including Adrian Mateos, Steve O’Dwyer, Ryan Riess and Justin Bonomo. However, it was Davidi Kitiai who came out on top with Juan Pardo Dominguez finishing runner-up.
A look at the final table payouts:
1. Davidi Kitai – $862,772
2. Juan Pardo Dominguez – $554,798

This was Kitai’s first High Roller victory with such a high buy-in – although he has won several other titles all over the world. He almost skipped the event after attending a friend’s wedding and arriving early morning, according to pokernews. However, Kitai had a good feeling about the tournament and the decision turned out to be a really good one.
Davidi Kitai claims the #1 Spot on the Belgian All-Time Money List and is currently 75th on the All-Time Money List. With this victory, his total live poker tournament earnings are now up to nearly $9.1 Million. His highest cashout still remains 1st place finish at the € 5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at EPT – 8 Berlin for $930,816.
