Jason Koon Ships Triton Poker SHR Series Short Deck Event for $3,579,914
The 2018 Triton Super High Roller Series in Montenegro just came to its conclusion with the $127,000 (HKD $1 Million) Short Deck Ante-Only event that saw a turnout of 103 to create a massive prize pool of $12,344,397 (HKD $96,902,400) – the largest ever for a Triton tournament.
It was American Poker Pro Jason Koon who manuevered through a tough field and even tougher final table to walk away with nearly $3.6 Million as well as the title, for his efforts. The final table also included the likes of Chinese High Stakes cash game Pro Xuan Tan (2nd Place) and Phil Ivey (3rd Place) who won the opening event of the series and managed a 3rd place finish in this event.

“It is kinda hard to have a bigger cash than that one in a poker tournament,” Koon told reporters after the tournament. “What was it, like three and a half million or something? Yeah, that’s pretty sweet,” he added.
