Jessica Dawley Wins First Bracelet In $1,000/$10,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em

Ruling the roost was 35 year old American, Jessica Dawley, The poker pro from Hollywood, FL, won her first World Series of Poker gold bracelet in the $1,000/$10,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship.
The win for Dawley was worth $130,230, beating her previous cumulative career earnings of $117,258. The action began when Dawley doubled up twice during a four-handed play and then rode on a series of hot cards to a commanding lead. Dawley was by far the most aggressive player at the table during the later levels, and eventually that aggression won out.
“It’s been kind of a grind for the last ten years and I’m really happy with [this result], ” said Dawley to WSOP “I can’t even put it into words,” in the moments following her win, “It hasn’t hit me yet for sure”
