Justin Bonomo Ships SHRB 2018 for $5 Million
61 players signed up earlier this year by making a $30,000 non-refundable deposit for the $300,000 buy-in 2018 Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB), which ran between 27th May – 30th May at the ARIA in Las Vegas, Nevada. 48 players finally made the cut and entered into the tournament.
It was Justin Bonomo who cut through one of the toughest fields in poker to take home the title as well $5 Million for his efforts. The final table included Daniel Negreanu who finished runner-up for $3 Million, Jason Koon, Last year’s winner Christoph Vogelsang, Mikita Badziakouski, Nick Petrangelo and Stephen Chidwick.

“It doesn’t feel like real life. It feels like I can’t lose….I almost said no matter what I do, but the truth is, I have really been trying my hardest and playing my A-game non-stop,” Bonomo told Card Player, in an interview. “The Super High Roller Bowl is definitely the most prestigious tournament of the year, so this has to be the biggest win of my career,” he added.
With this victory, Justin Bonomo now has over $31 Million in live tournament earnings and is currently placed 3rd on the all-time money list behind only Erik Seidel (over $34 Million) and Daniel Negreanu (over $38 Million).
