Justin Bonomo Takes Down Super High Roller Bowl China for $4,820,299


It was a star-studded final table at the first-ever Super High Roller Bowl China that completed on 22nd March 2018. The $270,000 buy-in event attracted 75 entries to create a massive prize pool of $18,542,370. It was Justin Bonomo who eventually walked away with the title as well as $4,820,299 for his first-place finish.

Bonomo had to maneuver through a final two tables that included some of the toughest opponents in the world such as – Patrik Antonius (eventually finished runner-up), Stephen Chidwick (current POY Rank 1), David Peters, Jason Koon, Isaac Haxton, Rainer Kempe, Byrn Kenney, Dan ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Dan Smith and Dominik Nitsche.

All players that made the 7-handed final table were guaranteed a cool $1,112,621 payday. Final table action saw Rainer Kempe building up a decent stack early on but falling eventually to Patrick Antonious. Justin Bonomo then proceeded to defeat Antonious to take home his highest score till date – by a huge margin!
