Copeland managed to put himself in a comfortable position (100 BB) early in the game by sending three players to the rail. With this staggering stack and Jorge Pineda’s 7.2 million stack nowhere close to his 19 million, it was smooth sailing from here for Michael.

The final hand played out when Pineda shoved over 20 BB with 10c,9h Copeland called with AJ suited. Although both players flopped pairs, the aces held good and Pineda had to walk away in second for $120, 610.
