The 2018 World Series of Poker Circuit High Roller event with a buy-in of €5,300, wrapped up recently at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. It was finally Pavel Dinar who maneuvered through a tough field of 41 competitors and a formidable final table to take home the Gold Ring as well as €72,058 for his efforts.
Binar has been very close to a Gold Ring several times in the last couple of years with a 4th place finish in the 2018 WSOPC €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High-Roller, 4th in 2017 WSOPC €5,500 High Roller, 6th in 2017 WSOPC €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High-Roller and 2nd in 2016 WSOPC €5,300 High Roller. He was delighted to finally close out the event and win the prestigious Gold Ring.
The final table of the High Roller event was filled with notable names from the poker industry including Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Oded Cohen, Van Tiep Nguyen (eventual runner-up) as well as bracelet-winner and two-time ring-winner Martin Kabrhel. Only 5 players made the money.
