Pedro Marques Leads Remaining 13 After Day 4 Of EPT Main Event
Day 4 of the EPT main event concluded and Portugal’s Pedro Marques lead the field with 9,150,000 chips. The competition still remains fierce with Brazil’s Fabiano Kovalski not too far behind with 8,745,000 chips. Other big stacks include Rodrigo Carmo (5,330,000), Matthias Tikerpe (5,200,000) and Haoxiang Wang (4,655,000) who need some quick chip-ups when the game resumes.
Mark Buckley who had a massive chipstack starting Day 4, advanced with a stack of only 4,400,000. Other players still in the running and contending for their second title include Ognyan Dimov (3,100,000) and John Juanda (1,980,000). On doing so they join Vickey Coren who is the only other champion who has two titles to his name.
All remaining 13 players will return to the tables to battle it out for the coveted trophy and first-place payout of €1,611,500.
