Mohammad Azhar Tak claimed another Gold Medal in the Friday Force 30L GTD event!

The National Poker Series worth INR 15 Crores GTD kicked-off on 13th June on PokerBaazi. We’ve now reached the penultimate day of the series and find ourselves closer than ever to crowing India’s first poker gold medalist! Let’s take a look at how Day 13 of the NPS went down on PokerBaazi! 

  • NPS#76 DEEPDIVE (5-MAX) 2.5 LAC GTD (RE)

The first event of the NPS Day 13 was the NPS#76 Deepdive 5-Max 2.5 LAC GTD (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 1,118 entries creating a prize pool of INR 5,59,000 with a min. cash of INR 838 and 126 places paid.

Suneeth ‘suneethkalmady’ Kalmady earned himself the gold medal and a payout of INR 95,086 after beating Arindam ‘darkhorse94’ Nayak in the final heads-up battle who finished runner-up for a payout of INR 66,633. ‘BigFishh’ finished in third place for the bronze medal and a payout of INR 43,211! All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. 

  • NPS#77 NPS GOLDEN RUSH 1 CR GTD (FLIGHT 1M) SPRINT

The second event of the day was none other than the NPS Golden Rush 1CR. GTD Flight 1M! This flight of the high value tournament received a total of 938 entries from which 96 players were able to survive 27 levels and earn their spots on the all important Day 2 of the Golden Rush. Here are the top 10 finishers from Flight 1M of the Golden Rush:

  • NPS#78 MEGASTACK 4 LAC GTD (RE)

Next up on NPS Day 13 was the NPS#78 Megastack 4 LAC GTD (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 1,016 entries creating a prize pool of INR 10,16,000 with a min. cash of INR 1,524 and 126 places paid.

Prince ‘NaNki’ Singh shipped the event and earned themselves a payout of INR 1,72,822! Prakash ‘Pinnug’ Gupta finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 1,21,107! ‘Ginishvadera’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 78,537. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. 

  • NPS#79 FRIDAY FORCE 30 LAC GTD (RE)

Next up on the schedule was another big event. The Friday Force INR 30L GTD event received a total of 782 entries, creating a prize pool of INR 39,10,000, 90 places paid and a min. cash of INR 8,602! 

Mohammad Azhar ‘chandlerbing’ Tak took down this massive event and earned himself his second gold medal and a payout of INR 7,07,710! Vinayak ‘salmanbhai’ Bajaj was the second place finisher of the event and earned themselves a payout of INR 4,96,197 while Gokul ‘Nygma’ Raj finished in third position for the bronze medal and a payout of INR 3,20,000!

  • NPS#80 NPS MAIN EVENT 3 CR GTD (FLIGHT 1E)

The penultimate event of Day 13 was the fifth flight of the massive NPS Main Event 3 Crores GTD event. The flight received a total of 704 entries, and only 81 players were able to make it to Day 2 from Flight 1D. Let’s take a look at the Top 10 stacks that were able to make it to the all important Day 2 of the Main Event:

  • NPS#81 SPRINT 10 LAC GTD (RE)

The final event of Day 13 of the NPS was the 10L GTD Sprint event. The tournament received a total of 911 entries creating a prize pool of INR 18,22,000 with a min. cash of INR 3,097 and 108 places paid. 

‘Realfc’ shipped the event and earned themselves a payout of INR 3,18,850! Vivek ‘Vivek25’ Dube finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 2,23,377! ‘Bababones’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 1,44,485. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. 

So, that was how Day 13 of the National Poker Series panned out!
