Shravan and Rajat leads FO and Kick-Off, Anirban ships Hyper Sprint

The National Poker Series worth INR 15 Crores GTD kicked-off on 13th June on PokerBaazi and it’s time to look back at who made the biggest impact on Day 2 of the NPS! 

  • NPS#7 KO 2 LAC GTD (RE)

The first event of the NPS Day 2 was the NPS#7 KO 2 LAC GTD (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 1,649 entries creating a prize pool of INR 4,12,250 with a min. cash of INR 535 and 144 places paid.

Anonymous player, ‘backchod’ shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 69,258! Gadadhar ‘1921’ Behera finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 48,563! Anonymous ID, ‘akkipower’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 31,495. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. 

  • NPS#8 NPS GOLDEN RUSH 1 CR GTD (FLIGHT 1B)

The second event of the day was none other than the NPS Golden Rush 1CR. GTD Flight 1B! The second flight of the high value tournament received a total of 1677 entries from which 208 players were able to survive 27 levels and earn their spots on the all important Day 2 of the Golden Rush.   • NPS#9 MEGASTACK 10 LAC GTD (RE)

Next up was the NPS#9 MEGASTACK 10 LAC GTD (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 1,075 entries creating a prize pool of INR 21,50,000 with a min. cash of INR 3,225 and 126 places paid. Anonymous player, ‘Smikijoejr’ shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 3,65,715!

Anonymous ID, ‘Error404’ finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 2,56,280! Online reg, Akshay ‘fsociety’ Dhingra finished in third position for a payout of INR 1,66,195. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

  • NPS#10 NPS FREEZEOUT 10 LAC GTD FLIGHT 1A

Next up was another multi-flight event, Flight 1A of the NPS Freezeout 10L GTD. Flight 1A received a total of 321 entries and only 48 survivors were able to make their way through 24 levels and earn their spots in Day 2!

Shravan ‘FishStars’ Chhabria ended Flight 1A with the chip lead with a stack of 2.55L in chips. Anonymous player, ‘13anurag’ finished second in chips with a stack of 2.45L! Let’s take a look at the Top 10 finishers from Flight 1A of the Freezeout event:

The penultimate event of Day 1 of the NPS was the Kick-Off 50L GTD Flight 1C. Flight 1C received a total of 516 entries and only 56 survivors were able to make their way through 27 levels and earn their spots in Day 2!

Rajat ‘LungFakeer’ Sharma ended Flight 1C with the chip lead with a stack of 3.94L in chips. Online crusher, Siddhanth ‘ender’ Kripalani finished second in chips with a stack of 3.22L! Let’s take a look at the Top 10 finishers from Flight 1C of the Kick-Off event:

The final event of Day 2 of the NPS was the 5L GTD Hyper Sprint 4-Max. event. The tournament received a total of 1029 entries creating a prize pool of INR 10,29,000 with a min. cash of INR 1,543 and 126 places paid.

Poker reg, Anirban ‘pottysingh’ Das  shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 1,75,032! Siddhanth ‘ender’ Kripalani finished in second place again and earned himself a payout of INR 1,22,656! Anonymous player, ‘toughonluck’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 79,541. 

All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. So, that was how Day 2 of the National Poker Series panned out! Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who finished in Top 3 and made it to Day 2 of the multi-flight events.
