Mohammad Azhar Tak ships 50 LAC GTD KICK-OFF for 10.69 LAC

The National Poker Series worth INR 15 Crores GTD kicked-off on 13th June on PokerBaazi and we’re already past Day 4 of the series. It’s time to look back at who made the biggest impact on Day 4 of the NPS! 

  • NPS#19 HYPER SPRINT 2 LAC GTD (5-MAX) (RE)

The first event of the NPS Day 4 was the NPS#19 Hyper Sprint 2 LAC GTD 5-Max (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 949 entries creating a prize pool of INR 4,74,500 with a min. cash of INR 759 and 117 places paid.

Ajay ‘Raakaa1’ Agarwal shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 81,661! Anonymous ID, ‘bazzmarlo’ finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 57,224! Anonymous ID, ‘elefante’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 37,105. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

  • NPS#20 NPS GOLDEN RUSH 1 CR GTD (FLIGHT 1D)

The second event of the day was none other than the NPS Golden Rush 1CR. GTD Flight 1D! The fourth flight of the high value tournament received a total of 1,237 entries from which 144 players were able to survive 27 levels and earn their spots on the all important Day 2 of the Golden Rush. Here are the top 10 finishers from Flight 1D of the Golden Rush:

  • NPS#21 NPS KICK-OFF 50 LAC GTD (DAY 2)

Next up was the Day 2 of the INR 50L GTD Kick-Off event. The multi-flight event received a total of 2,381 entries across 4 flights, creating a prize pool of INR 59,52,500 with a min. cash of INR 4,762 and 263 places paid. Mohammad ‘chandlerbing’ Azhar shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 10,69,664!

Anonymous ID, ‘Walao’ finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 7,98,230! ‘Psyberius’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 5,68,463. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

  • NPS#22 PKO 5 LAC GTD (RE)

Next up on NPS Day 4 was the NPS#22 PKO 5 LAC GTD  (RE) event. The tournament received a total of 745 entries creating a prize pool of INR 11,17,500 with a min. cash of INR 2,458 and 90 places paid. Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra shipped the event and earned himself a payout of INR 2,02,267!

Anonymous ID, ‘sidkid’ finished in second place and earned himself a payout of INR 1,41,810! Anonymous ID, ‘skullkiker’ finished in third position for a payout of INR 91,411.

  • NPS#23 NPS DOUBLE JUMP 25 LAC GTD (1RE)

The fifth event of the day was the 25L GTD Double Jump. The tournament received a total of 411 entries, creating a prize pool of INR 41,10,000 with a min. cash of INR 23,016 and 45 places paid. The event saw the first heads-up deal being made between Romit ‘tilt83’ Advani and ‘stregobor’. 

Romit ‘tilt83’ Advani took down the gold medal and earned himself a payout of INR 6,91,481 whereas ‘stregobor’ received the silver medal for losing the heads-up but a higher payout of INR 7,75,788! Vivek ‘nutpeddling729’ Singh finished in 3rd place for a payout of INR 3,88,395! 

  • NPS#24 NPS FREEZEOUT DAY 2 10 LAC GTD

Another Day 2 of a multi-flight event was lined up yesterday. The 10L GTD Freezeout event received a total of 608 entries across two flights, creating a prize pool of INR 15,20,000 with a min. cash of INR 5,624 and 63 places paid. Anonymous player, ‘Majay’ shipped the event for a payout of INR 2,95,336.

One of the best players in the country, Aditya ‘gangajal’ Sushant finished runner-up for a payout of INR 2,07,024! ‘Pingu’ ended up with the bronze medal and a payout of INR 1,33,152!

  • NPS#25 PLO5 SLAM DUNK 3 LAC GTD (RE)

The penultimate event of Day 4 was the PLO5 Slam Dunk 3L GTD event. The tournament received a total of 776 entries, creating a prize pool of INR 7,76,00, 90 places paid and a min. cash of INR 1,707.

Pankaj ‘jmdpanku’ Sharma shipped the event for a payout of INR 1,22,995! ‘Optimusprime’ finished in 2nd place for payout of INR 1,15,934 while ‘atulkhurana’ finished in third place for INR 63,476! All players will receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.

  • NPS#26 SPRINT (5MAX) 6 LAC GTD (RE)

The final event of Day 4 of the NPS was the 6L GTD Sprint 5-Max event. The tournament received a total of 1,017 entries creating a prize pool of INR 15,25,500 with a min. cash of INR 2,288 and 126 places paid. Akshai ‘akshai’ Kakaria shipped the event and earned themselves a payout of INR 2,59,487!

‘Bharathugkris’ finished in second place and earned themselves a payout of INR 1,81,839! Online crusher, Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta finished in third position for a payout of INR 1,17,921. All players receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. 

So, that was how Day 4 of the National Poker Series panned out!
