World-cup-winning Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh who recently announced his retirement from international cricket is all set to feature for Toronto Nationals in the Global T20, Canada

The 2019 Global T20 Canada will be the second edition of the Global T20 Canada, a 20-over cricket tournament played in Brampton, Ontario. The second edition is scheduled to begin on the 25th of July and conclude with the finals on the 11th of August. The tournament features six teams and former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh will be playing for Toronto Nationals along with Brendon McCullum, Trent Boult and Kieron Pollard

Yuvraj announced his retirement in June from international cricket and in order to focus on franchise-based T20 leagues across the world. The cricketer had also written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) seeking permission to play in overseas T20 tournaments. The recent retiree did get the nod and delayed no further by singing a deal to be the marquee player for the Toronto Nationals.

Yuvraj will also be joined by some big wigs from world cricket including New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Faf du Plessis among others.

Yuvraj will share the dressing room with India pacer Manpreet Gony, Brendon McCullum and Kieron Pollard at Toronto Nationals.
