If Super Bowl ads targeted poker players

Super Bowl is a sporting spectacle that has the game’s audience roaring. It’s not just the battle of the best, but it’s also all about the commercials! With millions of users glued to their screens, companies spend millions of dollars preparing Super Bowl ads hoping they can capture the heart of the consumers. Catchy ads like Coca Cola’s “Hey Kid, Catch!”, Budweiser’s ‘Puppy Love’ or Doritos ‘Crash the Super Bowl’ have become cultural phenomena to reckon with.

The games certainly attract a wide demographic and not just the NFL’s target demographic, a middle aged man. Americans who don’t even like sports watch the big game, often for the funny commercials or for the party. On that lighter note, we thought, we’d look into what type of commercials would appear during the Super Bowl if poker players were also a part of the viewership demographic.

A pair of headphones certainly tops the list. Drunks, political fanatics, table captains and just loud Homo sapiens surround poker games. A pair of headphones certainly solves the problem eliminating the unnecessary distractions. It’s also a great way to zone out of your annoying opponent and therefore we think headphones are a great fit.

Las Vegas Tourism Ads

No matter which part of the globe you are from, every poker player 24/7 has one thing on their mind:  VEGAS! Las Vegas is the Mecca of poker, be it for high rollers, low rollers, and everyone in between. This one’s definitely going to get the poker audience’s eyes twinkling.

Hand Sanitizer

One of the drawbacks to live poker is you’ll often face opponents who, apparently, have hygiene issues. Due to the lack of cleanliness among some poker players, it would be wise for hand sanitizer companies to tap into the poker community. Furthermore, it helps fight the spread of bacteria on the felts. With the spread of the coronavirus and dirty poker chips, this one is a sure shot win.

Food Delivery Service to Poker Rooms

Poker players are often limited with decent food options while playing live. In these situations, it would be nice to have someone deliver a good meal from a nearby restaurant. During the WSOP, All-American Dave, a healthy food truck. brought tasty and healthy grub right to your table.

All we need is for one of the big food delivery brands to address the poker community and the cash registers will go ka-ching!

If there’s one accessory a poker player dotes, it’s got to be his pair of tints! With summer around the corner and the WSOP releasing it’s tournament schedule for the new season, we think this product is a no-brainer!
