The curtains finally closed on India’s Biggest Poker Tournament and what a show it was! The EndBoss gathered a monumental prize pool of INR 5.85 Crores across its four starting flights, and last night history was created as a champion was crowned – Abhishek ‘human_ai’ Maheshwari from Pune. Maheshwari won himself an unreal payday of INR 1,00,15,911 – the largest (by miles) recorded in Indian poker thus far.
An unknown to most of the poker community in India, Abhishek admitted that this was his very first event played on the website! What a start indeed! To top that off, the 27-year old Pune lad deposited just INR 5,000 a couple of days ago, managed to qualify via a 1,100 satellite and went on to convert that to INR 1Cr+! Literally a dream come true!
A huge shout out to the entire poker community for making such an event possible, and of course PokerBaazi.com and Mr Navkiran Singh for creating the opportunity. No one (apart from Mr Navkiran) could have imagined that a 5 Crore event would be possible, especially considering the small 11k buy in, but poker in India has outdone itself yet again!
Congratulations to all the players who took part, all the finalists including regulars Neel Joshi (2nd) and Romit Advani (3rd) – who’s impressive finishes stand proof to the fact that the game is indeed a skill-based one, and everyone who managed to turn satellite entries into big scores – this truly is a monumental achievement!

Big congrats to everyone once again! Until next time!
