Sunday Sum Up: 30th September’18


Sunday Sum Up: 30th September’18 witnessed yet another action packed Sunday with plenty of players registering for the Baazi Super Sunday tournaments, each with a shot at the total guaranteed prize pool of INR 25 LACS. With PPL Autumn’18 just around the corner, yesterday also saw a satellite event to the series being played out. Here are the results from Sunday’s action.

5 LAC GTD 6-max Monster Stack

First up was the 5 LAC GTD 6-max monster stack event which saw 103 entrants battling for a top prize of INR 1,28,000. That prize was taken by “madnutscrazy”, who beat “borntrouble” heads up for the title. Second place was paid out INR 90,950.


Next up was the recently launched Baazi Super Sunday 5 LAC GTD PLO event. It saw 57 players putting up the buy-in amount of INR 5,500 each with the top 9 players making it to the money. Tournament regular “SelfClaimedPro” finished on top of the field, adding yet another title to his impressive resume, not to mention an INR 1,40,000 payday! Runner up in the event was “bencb789”, who received INR 95,000 for his efforts.

15 LAC GTD SuperStack

The featured event for the day was the BSS 15LAC GTD SuperStack event which saw 161 players take to the felts. The top 26 players were paid out in the event which saw plenty of regulars clashing on the tables. Finishing right on top and earning a massive payday of INR 3,03,750 was “Zillarstar”, who defeated well-known player “sherlock52” heads up. Runner up in the event was paid out INR 2,28,750.

PPL Autumn’18 Satellite

PPL Autumn’18 has been scheduled from October 15-21 and will feature a mammoth INR 4.5 Crore in Guaranteed Prize Pool. Satellites for the series have begun and yesterday we saw “rohit22m” win himself a package that included tickets to events in the series with a total guarantee of INR 2.8 Crore. Runner up in the satellite event was “AilaGaya”, who received a prize of INR 38,500.

5 LAC GTD MegaStack

The last event for the evening was the 5 LAC GTD MegaStack event which roped in 116 entrants. The top 17 players were paid out and it was “duuurrr” who took down the event for a payday of INR 1,22,400. Finishing second in the event was “Unpredictable”, who received INR 86,700 for his finish.
